Yes, I am very behind in blogging sessions! These are from last June, I had a full day of mini sessions for Dads to celebrate Father's Day. It was a beautiful day filled with amazing families.

They are a beautiful family. Filled with laughter, energy and pure delight. Their girls are happy-go-lucky and it was a pure pleasure to be able to photograph their family as they awaited the arrival of Baby Girl. And these are the moments I love being able to capture from in-home newborn sessions. Things like this just don't happen in-studio!
"Eventually soul mates meet for they have the same hiding place." - Robert Brault This Mamma, apart from being stunning, is also insanely talented! She is the lady I have the privilege of getting the cakes for my cake smash sessions from. If you have a chance, swing by Faircakes and Other Bakes and check out her work. I am always so impressed with her creations. . . and keep in mind that these are ones that little fingers and toes are going to destroy for fun!! The time and skill that goes into them, not to mention being Mommy to two little ones running around. It was with great delight that I was able to capture their family. "For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul." "Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a Superhero." -Mark Brown
This happy little girl... Is this little peanut 1 year later! I love being able to watch babies grow up, change, come into their own person.
I've photographed this family a couple times now and I absolutely love them. Their little girl is beyond adorable and they are so much fun!
And what better way to keep a little girl still then to throw a tea party with dad? "When we speak of magic, we should speak of those moments that were the purest.
When the stars were bright and the laughter was loud. Those are the most magical moments of life." I absolutely love being able to capture memories for families. It is why I do what I do as a photographer. To freeze a moment in time, to portray the love in a relationship, to give families something tangible to hold onto when that moment has passed.
This session was part of the Daddy and Me Mini Sessions for Father's Day. The difference with this one is that it is a grandfather and his grandson. Precious. Perfect. Back in June, I held a day of Mini Sessions to celebrate the relationship a Father has with his children. This family asked if I would be willing to include a couple of them as a family as they didn't have any family portraits. Of course I said yes! They are a lovely couple with a beautiful little boy.
